About Edwards Performance
EP was founded in 2012 by coach Pete Edwards. Coach Edwards has over 20 years experience in performance coaching. Beginning his career in strength and conditioning in developing sports, going on to work with elite athletes (see alumni list) and then high performers in the business world, as well.
Edwards performance now provides high quality coaching, education, and information in the areas of health and high performance.
We believe in a culture of performance through health. So often we see athletes, teams, executives and organisations try to drive performance at the expense of health and wellbeing. Not realising that the body and brain are the vehicles through which every great performer practices their craft, and as such the wellbeing of that body determines, in large part, the performance in your undertakings. We know how to drive performance while seeing health and wellbeing as a great asset, preserving it and even building it in the face of great challenge.
Our core concept of the five arenas of physical health forms the basis for our work with clients. We see these interdependent elements of food, fitness, sleep, resilience and environment as the bedrock of god health, which is the foundation of performance.
We have built a very special place to train at our Barker gate gym in Nottingham. With one of the most tight knit, welcoming, and intimidation free places you could ever possibly hope to train. A place where world championship competitors train alongside 70 year old retirees and 8 year old hopefuls. Under the constant supervision of our coaches, results are all but guaranteed.
